Established in the industrial zone of Kouinine, Wilaya of El-Oued, the company El-Walid was created on January 6, 1998 and its first operation dates back to March 1, 2000.
Equipped with highly qualified personnel, resulting from a selection meeting rigorous skill criteria and thanks to significant investments, the El-Walid company today benefits from remarkable potential both in terms of know-how and production equipment.
Following a relevant analysis of the market and the constant improvement of printing techniques and production capacities, El-Walid Emballages has invested in multiple extensions over the years. El Walid currently includes, from a structural point of view, three major divisions: Compact cardboard packaging, corrugated cardboard packaging, and plastic packaging.
Since its creation and over the years, the El-Walid company has remained faithful to the principle which accompanied its creation: that of positioning itself among the leading printing and packaging companies in Algeria, in terms of quality, innovation technical and production capacity.
El Walid Emballages has been committed, since its creation, to offering its customers high quality services with remarkably short execution times. To achieve this objective, the company has given great importance to continuous developments and improvements, both in terms of equipment and personnel. The latter benefits from training cycles and regular practical courses in order to stay up to date to current knowledge.
By combining constantly progressing know-how and the latest generation of technological means, El Walid Emballages not only realizes the notion of art, inherent in the traditional conception of printing, but also opens up numerous horizons in the field of packaging. As part of the confirmation of the quality of our products and services that we provide to our customers, we decided to implement a quality management system and we are now the holder of the ISO 9001:2015 certificate. Successful audit, performed by the certification body TÜV Rheinland, confirms that we have successfully met the demanding requirements of the certification audit of the quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2015 system standard. We believe that the processes we have set up will be appreciated not only by our current but also by future customers and business partners.
Committing to respecting the environment has always been a priority for El Walid Emballages. Through several concrete actions for preserving our environment as evidenced by this non-exhaustive list of El Walid Emballages’ efforts in this direction:
- Use of “solvent-free” glue for lamination.
- On-site recycling of plastic materials.
- Transport of paper and cardboard waste to the recycling centers.
- Recycling of all chemicals used in the manufacturing chain.
- Creation of green spaces between production units.
- All areas of EL Walid are “non-smoking zone”.
- Use of biodegradable packaging films.
- Architecture of buildings exploiting the natural conditions of the region (space, height, light, air conditioning, etc.).
- Use of recyclable aluminum formwork.
